As I continue my research on my new favorite team, the Orix Buffaloes, starring Adam Jones, I have learned that the Buffaloes currently have two mascots – a brother and sister named Buffalo Bull and Buffalo Bell. Both were introduced in 2011. According to Fandom.com’s Mascot Wiki, Bell is the more popular of the two. In fact, merchandise sales tripled after Bell’s debut. According to the site, “Bell has probably had the most commercial success out of all Japanese mascots, as she has a very large amount of merchandise, including a photo album and a PVC figurine.”
